This includes the same digital Daily Edition newspaper, in addition to live news updates, puzzles and games, and exclusive members-only features. Downloading The Independent app will also ensure that the app remains compatible with newer smartphones and tablets.
How to download the Independent app:
- Head to the Apple App Store if you are using an Apple device, or the Google Play store if you are using Android
- Search for The Independent
- Select ‘Get’ / ‘Install’
- Once downloaded, click ‘Open’
- Select ‘Log in’ at the bottom of the page
- Enter your email address and password
- Browse the app’s features
