You can reset your password at any time by visiting www.independent.co.uk/forgotten-password
To reset your password on the Independent app.
Open the app.
Press Continue when prompted by the verification authorisation pop-up.
Enter your registered/subscribed email address.
Press Forgotten password.
Click this and follow the on-screen instructions to change your password.
Once you have successfully changed your password, please force quit the app, re-open the app and log in with your email and password.
To reset your password on The Independent Daily Edition app.
Open the Independent Daily Edition app.
Press Account.
Press Sign in.
Enter your registered/subscribed email address.
Press Forgotten password.
Click this and follow the on-screen instructions to change your password.
Once you have successfully changed your password, please force quit the app, re-open the app and log in with your email and password.
Please note, the Independent Daily Edition app remains in service for existing customers within the app only, we recommend these users switch to the newer, all-in-one Independent app. Find out more here.
