How do I register my app-bought Independent Premium subscription?

If you have subscribed via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you will need to register your in-app bought subscription to unlock all the benefits of Independent Premium.

These benefits include access to your subscription on the web, as well as the ability to access your subscription on multiple devices. 

 

To register your subscription via The Independent Premium App

  1. Open the Independent app.

  2. Press the head and shoulders Icon on the top right corner.

  3. Press 'Link Subscription'

This will register your in-app bought subscription to your online account. You will then be able to log in on up to 4 devices using your email and password. 

 

To register your subscription via The Independent Daily Edition App

  1. Open The Independent Daily Edition App 

  2. Select ‘Account’

  3. Press the ‘Link Subscription’

  4. Enter your Email and Password in the designated fields, then press 'Create account'.

You can then log in with your email address and your registered password.

 

 

Please note, the Independent Daily Edition app remains in service for existing customers within the app only; we recommend these users switch to the newer, all-in-one Independent app. Find out more here.
