It sounds like you may not have logged in with your subscribed email address and password. It is vitally important that the correct email address and password are used when logging in to the app or website in order for you to gain access to your full subscription benefits.
You will need to log out and log back in using your subscribed email address and password.
The Independent Daily Edition app:
- Open the app
- Tap the three vertical dots or head and shoulders icon in the top right corner depending on your device.
- Tap 'Existing subscriptions'
- Tap 'Log out'
- Enter your subscribed email address and password
- Tap 'Login'
The Independent Premium app:
- Open the app
- Tap the head and shoulders icon in the top right corner
- Tap 'sign out'
- Tap 'Continue' when prompted.
- Enter your subscribed email address and password and tap 'Submit'
If you have successfully logged in with the correct email and password you see a message saying 'You currently have an active subscription'.
